Reflector App - Your iPad on your SMARTBoard!

Hi All,

Today i have installed an app on to your Mac Minis in each class which will allow you to mirror your iPad on to your SMARTBoard!

There is lots of potential for using this App in your classroom!

Check out Michael using the app below!

You can share just about anything you do on your iPad with your class. Here are some ways you could use reflector in your classroom
  • Share YouTube videos
  • Annotate documents live with your students
  • Display pictures of student/teacher work
  • Demonstrate apps
  • Show iView videos
  • Walk the room while still remaining connected
  • Use as a document camera (Point2View) to show student work!
Michelle or Michael will be able to show you how to get it happening in your class, and we will cover it at the first iPad PD session next term!

Have a great break and see you all next term!

Sam

So What Happened At The Kick- Off Session?

The instruction manual!

Hi All,

Not long now until you're iPads are ready to go!

The iPad itself does not come with an instruction manual, so thought we could point you in the direction of a couple of digital manuals :)

The first one is Apple's instruction manual - it starts with the basics of the iPad and then goes on to explain how to use some of the finer features of the device - click here to download it

The second one is an iBook created by one of the very talented members of the ICLT team at the Catholic Education Office in Wollongong. Jeanette Davies has created a book full of handy tips and tricks for using the iPad most effectively...  click here to download this book

Happy Downloading!
